1. What Karibu eSIM is

Karibu eSIM is a digital platform that lets you purchase and manage eSIM data plans for travel in 200+ countries. Plans are fulfilled by third-party network partners and carriers. We are your point of contact for support, billing, and refunds.

2. Your account

• You must be of legal age in your country to purchase services
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• All activity on your account is your responsibility unless you notify us of unauthorized access immediately

3. eSIM plans — what to expect

• eSIM plans are digital SIM profiles installed on a compatible, unlocked device
• Coverage, speed, and network features vary by destination and carrier — check the plan details page for specifics
• Most plans are data-only; some include voice or SMS where specified
• Plan validity begins upon installation, activation, or first network connection — as stated in the plan details
• Your device must be eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked. You are responsible for verifying this before purchasing. Email us if you are not sure.

4. Orders and delivery

After successful payment, your eSIM QR code and activation details will be sent to your email and available in your account dashboard. You must follow the installation instructions provided. Errors caused by incorrect installation are not covered under our refund policy.

5. Pricing and payments

• All prices are shown in USD unless otherwise stated at checkout
• Currency conversion fees may apply depending on your card or payment provider
• You are responsible for any taxes or bank fees charged by your own financial institution

6. Wallet

Your Karibu wallet holds credits earned through cashback and referrals. Wallet funds can be used toward any eligible purchase on the platform. They do not expire during normal account operation, do not earn interest, and are not redeemable for cash.

7. Cashback and referral rewards

• First purchase: 50% of the plan cost is credited back to your Karibu wallet
• All subsequent purchases: 20% cashback credited to your wallet
• Referral commissions are credited after the referred customer completes a qualifying purchase that is not refunded or charged back
• We reserve the right to cancel rewards earned through fraud, fake accounts, or abuse of the program

8. What you must not do

• Use Karibu eSIM for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
• Abuse promotions, referrals, refunds, or chargebacks
• Create fake accounts or provide false information for KYC or account purposes

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension and forfeiture of wallet balances and rewards.

9. Network performance

eSIM connectivity is provided through third-party carriers. We do not control carrier outages, coverage gaps, throttling, or local restrictions. We will always support you with troubleshooting — but network quality in every location around the world cannot be guaranteed by any eSIM provider.

10. Our liability

Karibu eSIM is not liable for indirect losses, missed flights, lost business, or consequential damages arising from connectivity issues. Our maximum liability for any individual claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific plan or transaction involved, unless required otherwise by applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms when needed. The updated version will be posted at karibuesim.com/policy/terms-of-service with a new effective date. Continued use of Karibu eSIM after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
